Publications and how to order / obtain them
Recent (in the last 2 years) reports and maps produced by the Connecticut District are available for INSPECTION ONLY in the East Hartford office. Please contact the Publication Section at (860) 291-6755 for further assistance.
Publications may be ordered from Denver USGS Information Services at (303) 202-4700.
Please note charges may vary and shipment may take up to 2 weeks.
Many U.S. Geological Survey products (including Water-Supply Papers, Professional Papers, Bulletins, Circulars, Water-Resources Investigations Reports and Open-File Reports) are available as over-the-counter sales from Earth Science Information Centers.
Certain reports, including (1) those having an alpha-numeric designation at the end of the citation, (2) annual U.S. Geological Survey Water-Data Reports (which contain all data collected and stored in the national USGS database by state) and (3) most Water-Resources Investigations Reports released before 1982, are available from :
