For sources of USGS maps in your local area, consult the local telephone book's yellow pages for the nearest commercial map dealers that sell USGS maps and contact them directly for pricing and ordering information. The U.S. Geological Survey, East Hartford office does not provide maps to the general public. For a list of map dealers in Connecticut and other options for obtaining maps see:

To Locate USGS People

To locate a specific USGS employee use the Electronic Phone Book. USGS Office of Communications staff are available to the media around-the-clock. A Directory of Key Officials also is available.

If you know the title or author, we suggest you use the USGS Publications Warehouse to find a specific USGS publication.
